This poster celebrates the famous Coast To Coast path created by Alfred Wainwright. Unofficial and mostly unsignposted it passes through 3 National Parks:- The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors.

The diagram traces the distance of 198 miles between St.Bees and Robin Hood's Bay and also highlights and caters for the alternate routes that can be taken including the traverse of mighty Helvellyn and Striding Edge!

It's impossible to be definitively accurate with the route in terms of miles but the poster looks to highlight major sights, stop off points and the altitude of the route and its alternate paths.
